Woven Church started with three families with the desire to build a biblical church.

The concept of “Church” isn’t a building, but a community: an emotional and spiritual anchor to nourish and guide every person from every background in their relationship with Jesus Christ. Woven exists to walk alongside not just believers, but those who do not yet believe, so they might become woven into a Christ centered relationship with us. Diversity in the Church is paramount to a deeper realization and discovery of who God is: an intercultural unity intended and encouraged from the beginning of time. Woven believes that the Church should be a place that breaks all barriers of race, gender, socio-economic, age, political and truly be a place of bringing unity through diversity. The unity isn’t on a philosophy or ideology but based on the person of Jesus Christ.

And they devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers. And awe came upon every soul, and many wonders and signs were being done through the apostles. And all who believed were together and had all things in common. And they were selling their possessions and belongings and distributing the proceeds to all, as any had need. And day by day, attending the temple together and breaking bread in their homes, they received their food with glad and generous hearts, praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to their number day by day those who were being saved- Acts 2:42-47

To serve the poor, to lead people into freedom, and Reach out to the international community

Serving the poor for the Christian is absolutely commanded. This is one of the missional initiatives for the Woven church. There are countless verses in the Old Testament and the New Testament that talk about serving the poor. One cannot ignore this call. It should cause us to have a missional bent to serve the poor.

Come and join us in serving our community to serve those who are in poverty. Woven believes one life at a time, one encounter at a time and one serving at a time. Woven wants to serve with a personal touch.

If among you, one of your brothers should become poor, in any of your towns within your land that the Lord your God is giving you, you shall not harden your heart or shut your hand against your poor brother, but you shall open your hand to him and lend him sufficient for his need, whatever it may be. Deuteronomy 15:7-8
